 If you are interested in joining our efforts at combating domestic violence and supporting those affected by this crime, Alternative Horizons offers a number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.  Crisis Hotline: Our 24-hour hotline is staffed entirely caring and dedicated volunteers from the community. AH offers volunteer trainings focused on domestic violence dynamics, civil and criminal legal procedure, local resources, safety planning and counseling skills. We welcome volunteers that come with the desire to help others in need as well as community members just interested in learning about the issue to our training. 

  Community Outreach and Education: AH is a strong presence in many of the area's middle and high schools, teaching teen dating prevention and bystander education classes. We love help from volunteers in teaching these classes!  If you would like to learn how you can help please e-mail us!

 Fundraising: If you would like to assist AH in the production of fundraisers, we have many opportunities for you to become involved. if you would like to help please e-mail us!
